Delete your data

You can request that Join Future Solutions W.L.L. (“HiSalon”) delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. This page explains how to make that request, what gets deleted, and how long deletion takes.
How to request deletion
Follow these steps to submit a deletion request:

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Data deletion request”.

Include identifying information: the name and email associated with your HiSalon account, or — if you booked through a salon without an account — the phone number used and the salon’s name.

State your request clearly: “I request deletion of my personal data.”

We reply within 7 days to confirm the request and may ask for additional information to verify your identity.

Deletion is completed within 30 days from primary systems, and within an additional 90 days from automated backups — after which all copies roll off.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, phone number).
- Booking history, preferences, and notes you submitted.
- Loyalty points and reward records associated with you.
- Any uploaded photos or attachments.
- Communications metadata, including WhatsApp opt-in records.
What we may retain
We may retain a limited amount of information after deletion where required by law or where there is a legitimate business reason that overrides your deletion request, for example:
- Invoicing, tax, and accounting records as required by Bahraini law.
- Records of consent or opt-out, kept solely to demonstrate compliance.
- Aggregated, anonymised analytics that can no longer identify you.
- Records relating to actual or threatened legal claims, disputes, or regulatory investigations.
If you booked through a salon
When you book at a salon through HiSalon, that salon is the data controller for your booking record and HiSalon acts as its processor. To delete your information from a particular salon, contact the salon directly. You can also contact us and we will forward your request to the relevant salon, but only the salon can authorise deletion of records they control. HiSalon will independently delete any data we hold about you outside of any specific salon’s control.
If you used WhatsApp with a HiSalon salon
Messages exchanged with a salon over WhatsApp are also subject to Meta Platforms, Inc.’s retention practices, described in the WhatsApp privacy policy. Deleting your data from HiSalon does not by itself delete messages stored in Meta’s systems or on your or the salon’s WhatsApp client; you may need to delete those messages locally and follow Meta’s instructions to request deletion from Meta directly.
Closing a salon-operator account
If you are a salon operator and want to close your HiSalon subscription, you may do so from inside the dashboard (Settings → Account) when self-serve close is available, or by emailing us. Closing your subscription does not by itself delete personal data; to delete it, follow the request process at the top of this page. End-customer data inside your HiSalon tenant is yours; we will export it for you on request before deletion.
